All the different colors can be grouped in three categories.

Primary colors

Primary colors are fundamental colors of nature. All the other colors require their presence to be formed. Basically we cannot get primary colors just by mixing other color

Secondary colors

Secondary colors are formed when two primary colors are mixed in equal amount. In a color wheel a secondary color is always in between two primary colors.
