The ‘Day of Dead’ is an ancient traditional holiday of Mexican culture. It falls in ninth month of Aztec Calendar.This festival acknowledges love for people who are resting in peace, and also symbolizes Cycle of Life.
On this day families visit cemeteries, to be with the souls of departed and loved ones. They decorate graves with orange Mexican Marigold. Common symbol for the festival is the Skull, which participants wear in form of a Mask.
