Acrylic colors are the most versatile medium. They comes in bottles or tubes. Great advantage is one can work with them on paper, canvas, cloth, wood or anything.

As compared to oil colors they are quite less expensive. They don't require any special soluble agent. Water is simply the best solvent for them. We can experiment with with them on flat canvases or paper with a pack of flat brushes.They are good to create crisp edges but not so good for blending. However they dries out really fast.
